WHAT ARE YOUR DELIVERY CHARGES?

Delivery charges are currently:
$15 (Standard Shipping) within domestic Australia or FREE (Standard Shipping) within Domestic Australia with a minimum spend of $150.
Express Shipping within Australia is $30.
FREE (Standard Shipping) automatically applies at checkout - no code required.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

At this time, we are unable to ship internationally however we hope to have this available for you in the near future for select products.


WHERE IS MY ORDER?

We strive to have your order packed and processed on the same business day but please know that it can take up to 3-5 business. When your order is ready to leave our store we'll email to let you know with the updated tracking number and links so you can keep an eye out for your package arriving.Once Australia Post has received the package, we cannot be held responsible for any time frames /delays that they may occur. Australian Domestic delivery generally takes 2-5 business days once received by Australia Post but can take longer depending on factors out of our control. Animate Hair and Beauty takes no responsibility for lost/missing parcels. Should a parcel be deemed received via a courier, you will need to contact the courier directly with your tracking number provided to resolve the issue.

CAN I CANCEL OR AMEND MY ORDER?

We can attempt to adjust/cancel your order, please text/call us immediately on 0467792082 to request this. Please know this can't be guaranteed! We can attempt to cancel an order before delivery but once shipping has been arranged, we cannot adjust the order. Please see our return/refund policy for further information. Please understand that if we are able to approve the cancellation/adjustment of an order, a refund or exchange may be granted less a 10% administration fee and less any shipping/packaging costs that has already taken place.

If you believe that your delivery address is incorrect call/text us immediately on 0467792082. Address changes cannot be guaranteed however will be attempted if you are able to reach us before your order has been pack or prior to delivery being arranged. Please know this can't be guaranteed! If your order has already been submitted for delivery or has arrived to the incorrect address it is out of our hands and you will have to lodge an investigation with the courier company.
Please note if we, Animate Hair and Beauty, have already paid for the shipping costs, and are able to assist you with a last minute address or product change, you will be required to pay any additional shipping costs that the courier charges for the change.



Did you know Animate Hair and Beauty is a small local business that only has a limited number of appointments available? This means that the time allocated for your appointment is reserved for only you.

 

When you book an appointment with Animate Hair and beauty, we guarantee you this time with a qualified professional to take care of your needs. Our goal at Animate Hair and Beauty is to provide a quality service. In order to do this we have implemented the following policies to protect both consumers/clients and our business including its staff.

BOOKINGS/DEPOSITS&NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING FEES/SALON SERVICES/CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULES/REFUNDS/PRODUCT PURCHASES/SHIPPING

 

With sufficient notice, we can often reschedule that appointment with another guest. Without notice, that’s not possible, leaving the salon to carry the considerable cost.

Our booking fee deposit policy secures the appointment for you and protects the business from late cancellations and no-show appointments.
Your booking fee deposit is not an extra charge, it is simply held on an account for you on your booked appointment and taken off your final bill at the time of checkout. Please be aware that the only way you would ever lose your booking fee deposit is if you cancel/reschedule/no-show your scheduled appointment without providing 48hours or more notice, or are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment. This means, should you book an appointment with less than 48 hours until the agreed upon appointment time, you will be required to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable booking fee deposit to secure your scheduled allocated appointment time. Please understand, as per our ANIMATE HAIR AND BEAUTY Policy Terms & Conditions, your booked/scheduled appointment is not confirmed or secured until we receive notification that your booking fee deposit has been paid.

When canceling or rescheduling an appointment, t
o ensure the transfer of your booking fee deposit to a new appointment date, you must provide Animate Hair and Beauty 48 hours or more notice by either of the following methods otherwise you will forfeit your deposit:

Should we be on another call or if you are calling outside of business hours, please notify us via text on 0467 792 082 and we will contact you back as soon as possible to arrange the cancellation/reschedule of your appointment.

With banks such as Commbank, NAB and Suncorp rolling out their new BUY NOW PAY LATER options, as of the 1
st of February 2023, we will no longer be accepting the following payment methods including but not limited to; Afterpay, Humm, LayBuy or Zippay.

You can still use BUY NOW PAY LATER services that are offered by your respective bank.

For your ease of use & transition during this time, we have attached links to a few banks that you may already be with that provide buy now pay later services that you can easily sign up to. They provide you with a digital card to easily tap in-store or use online like a normal visa/master card.

The best part is you will no longer be restricted as to where you can shop and you can use these payment methods to pay for your service(s), booking fee deposits, memberships and product purchases.

Booking Fee Deposit Amount Required
For all service appointment bookings, a 25% booking fee deposit is required at the time of booking all appointments and can be paid online via our booking system when booking online, in-person at the time of booking the appointment, when booking via phone you can pay by providing card details or we can send you a secure online payment link via email which needs to be paid within 2 hours before expiring resulting in your booking being canceled.

Whilst we are always happy to provide a custom service and and source your preferred products, we will do our best to specially order these in for your. As we must purchase these product(s) in full at the time of order, a 100% non-refundable payment is required at the time of ordering and is used to pay for the custom order. Payments for custom product(s) / service(s) are non-refundable for change of mind inclusive of any additional courier/postage fees to have the item custom ordered for you.

Cancellations / Reschedules / No Shows
Cancellations / Reschedules / No Shows outside required notice times (less than 48 hours notice) are non-refundable and will forfeit any booking fee deposits or pre-paid payments made associated with the affected appointment/invoice. In this instance, you will forfeit any booking fee deposits or pre-paid payments made associated with the affected uncompleted appointment or service(s) and may be required to book a new appointment and pay a new booking fee deposit for a more suitable date and time.

Should Animate Hair and Beauty need to cancel/reschedule an appointment due to unsafe weather conditions, power outages, staff illness or other unforeseen events, we will contact you via phone call and text message to reschedule your appointment for the next available time slot. You will not be penalized for this and any payments will transfer to your new appointment time. Whilst we do everything in our power to avoid these situations, Animate Hair and Beauty apologises for the inconveniences these situations may occur.

In the rare instance that a staff member becomes ill and is unable to provide you with the booked services for the allotted appointment date & time, should Animate Hair and Beauty provide you with less than 48 hours notice, Animate Hair and Beauty will offer a complimentary hot towel In-Salon Treatment during your next service.

 

 

Arriving 15 Minutes or More Late
Arriving 15 minutes or more late to your appointment means that we are likely not be able to complete your full service in the allotted time.

We may be able to still accommodate you by to skipping your scalp massage or some of your services booked for the appointment however please note that you will forfeit any booking fee deposits or pre-paid payments made associated with the affected uncompleted appointment or service(s). In instances in which we can no longer complete any part of your booked service(s) appointment, you will be required to make a new booking and pay an new booking fee depoisit for a more suitable date and time. Please note that if the staff at Animate Hair and Beauty have not heard from you directly, if you have not arrived within 15 minutes after your allotted appointment time, the we will consider and treat this as a No Show, your appointment will be cancelled and any booking fee deposits will be forfeited.

 

Rescheduled Appointments
Reschedule appointments must be made within 2 weeks of your original appointment date, failing to do so will result in your booking fee deposit being non-refundable and a new booking fee deposit will need to be paid to secure your next appointment. Please note that when rescheduling / making a new appointment that our prices may have changed and that your booking fee deposit may require an adjustment or additional payment.

Booking with Gift Cards
If you are using a Animate Hair and Beauty Gift Voucher to pay for your booking fee deposit, you will need to book via phone call or in-person. At the time of booking you will need to provide us with the gift voucher number to be able to use it as a booking fee deposit for your service. If you are also using it to pay for your service during checkout, you will need to provide the gift voucher number again. Cancellations/reschedules/no shows or arriving 15 minutes or more late to your allotted appointment time will result in your booking fee deposit being treated like any other payment method listed and still uphold the same policy as previously mentioned during those circumstances.

Animate Hair and Beauty Service Guarantee
Whilst we’re all about ‘wowing’ you with our care and skills,and continually strive to delight every salon guest, we do not refund if you simply change your mind.

If at any stage you are dissatisfied with the salon service you received due to a possible error by us and in line with your consultation recommendations, please contact the salon within 24 hours of your appointment. We will ask you to return to the salon for your hair to be visually assessed within 3 business days of your appointment. Should there be an error, Animate will offer to provide a one time complimentary adjustment appointment within 10 days of your original appointment date. Please know that whilst we will offer all possible service appointment times, we will not be held responsible should the time slots offered for your adjustment appointment is not suitable to you. You must ensure you attend the new time appointed to you as another one will not be scheduled and this cannot be rescheduled. Booking fee deposits will not be taken for adjustment appointments. Please understand that as the service has been completed regardless of late arrivals, we do not provide refunds. Please note these situations are considered case by case and is at the discretion of Animate Hair and Beauty.
Please be aware, our guarantee does not cover you for the following instances but not limited to:
-if you have not used the correct home care instructions and product recommendations provided by the staff at Animate Hair and Beauty.
-you liked the idea of being ashy/silver toned and then decide its not for you.
-if you have have not been truthful during the consultation about your hair history
- change of mind regarding a haircut style eg, happy with hair cut when leaving salon and then decide you would love to get those new bangs cut in.
-Colour fade if using incorrect water temperature, incorrect products, not following aftercare instructions

-damage to personal items due to not following correct aftercare information

Services will not be refunded and customers will not be offered an adjustment on their service relating to hair integrity and colour longevity should the customer not follow the after care advice and use the exact professional products recommended by Animate Hair and Beauty. No refunds or adjustment services will be provided for services including but not limited to: treatments, toners, styling or fashion shade colour fade outs.

In the case of partial & full pre-paid/paid service(s), including but not limited to: services booked under a membership program, booking fee deposits paid, prepaid/laybuy services or gift vouchers, the service(s) & its appointment along with any/all booking fee deposits/payments made, will be completely forfeited if you do not adhere to our cancellation/reschedule/no show or late arrival policy.

Animate Hair and Beauty reserves the right to request and receive booking fee deposits for any/all booking request/s.

    • Refunds will only be provided where we are required under the Australian Consumer Law to do so.

When will a deposit be taken?

A booking fee deposit is taken at the time of booking your appointment. We cannot hold appointments that have not been confirmed via a paid booking fee deposit.

  1. For our amazing guests who wish to re-book and secure their next appointment, when checking out at the salon for your current appointment, you can easily pay your booking fee deposit during the same transaction to secure your next appointment booking.
    Option 2: When checking out at the salon and re-booking for your next appointment, we will arrange to have a secure payment link for your booking fee deposit sent via email to you 2 weeks prior to your next scheduled appointment, in which you will have 24hrs to arrange payment to secure the appointment before the payment link times out. Should payment not be made within the 24hrs, our appointment system will automatically cancel your appointment.

Appointments & Times
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early to your appointment time.
You must arrive on time to ensure there is time for us to provide the full service(s) you have booked in for. Please refer to our cancellation/reschedule/no show/ late arrival policies for additional details.

Once appointments are booked, you can only change/adjust/reduce the services booked if you provide 48 hours or more notice. If you choose to no longer receive part of a booked service with less than 48 hours notice, please note, as this time was allocated for you, any service(s) not completed due to providing less than 48 hours notice are considered as a cancellation/no-show and any service(s) booked but not completed are non-refundable/ non-transferable / cannot be rescheduled to another day and the booking fee deposit paid for any of those services(s) that were booked will therefor be forfeited as per our cancellation/no show/ reschedule policy.

Online / Phone Bookings

The only way we can ensure that your self-booked appointment will be suitable regarding your stylist and the time allocated for your appointment, is to attend a ‘Complimentary In-Person Consultation’ prior to your appointment to discuss your hair needs and services recommended. If this “in-person consultation” appointment has not occurred, there may be disappointment with your service estimation of the allocated time/cost/service not being adequate to achieve your desired result. If you have attended/arrive to an appointment you have made online/over the phone without having a complimentary in-person consultation, in order to achieve your desired outcome, it may mean that you will need to reschedule your appointment for a more suitable time. Please know that should you have booked for a service that is not suitable to the desired outcome or have not booked the correct services for but not limited to your hair type/length etc, you may be required to accept an alternative service that is able to be completed within the time frame that you have booked or forfeit your paid booking fee deposit and book a new appointment and pay the required booking fee deposit for the correct services required to achieve the desired result.

Quotes
Whilst we do offer quotes, do keep in mind these are not exact figures, we can only give estimates. When quoting over the phone or via messages, we are very limited to all the information we need to know about your hair, therefore quotes may vary. In most cases we are not be able to provide an accurate quote until we actually see your hair in person, if you would like a more accurate quote, please book in either online or via phone call for a complimentary 15 minute in person consult.

All base prices (excluding surcharges or at home care) will be confirmed and re-quoted at the start of your appointment booking after your in person consultation has concluded. Our timely prices are accurate however we cannot provide accurate quotes online or via the phone without an in person consultation and that you understand and acknowledge that there may be additional costs should you have booked for incorrect services including but not limited to: not booking a toner which is required when booking for lightening service, booking for long hair instead of extra long.

 



All quotes provided expire after 2 weeks/14 days.

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

The following will also be covered in the consult form that you receive upon booking your appointment that you are required to complete prior to your arrival.

By booking your appointment with Animate Hair and Beauty, you agree to the following terms.

To ensure the best results possible, our at home professional salon quality haircare regime is required. During your service, your stylist will provide you with a custom-tailored post salon-service haircare regime along with the skills and confidence to use the recommended products once you are home. Please note, Animate Hair and Beauty is here to assist you and might you feel unsure about how to use a product or maintain your hair once you are home, please don't hesitate to contact us, we are always happy to talk you through it again.

You (the client) confirm that the salon and the hairstylist will not be responsible or liable if the result of the service is not as expected or as it should be as all hair varies from one person to another and therefore understand that the hair may not be able to look like the goal/inspirational hair pictures that you or the salon provides. You (the client) understand that the results of professional hair products and services can vary from one person to another.

You (the client) confirm that you will follow the regimen and the suggested follow-ups appointments recommended by Animate Hair and Beauty and the hairstylist in maintaining your hair.

You (the client) consent to the salon and the hairstylist to apply necessary products to the hair, scalp, skin, body etc as part of the service to achieve the desired results.

You (the client) understand that the hairstylist will explain to you what the treatment/service plan will be and that if you are unsure of anything, you will ask prior to the hairstylist starting the service.

You (the client) agree that the finished result is final after the service is completed.
You understand that if you contact the salon after 24hrs past the original/affected service appointment finish time period, you will be charged at full price for any additional service appointments.
You (the client) consent that before and after photo's are to be taken for salon use only unless otherwise approved (please see emailed consult form). Only Animate Hair and Beauty staff members will see these. No faces are shown in these photo's unless you are happy to do so.
You (the client) consent that you acknowledge that all new colour services/clients, change of colour services, or style/restyle hair cuts must be finished with a blowdry or diffuse in order to check & confirm that you are happy with the results prior to leaving. You acknowledge that should you decide to not receive a blowdry or diffuse blowdry(for curly clients), that you void your right to use our Animate Guarantee and should you not be satisfied with the results, you will not be entitled to a refund or an amendment appointment.



Privacy Statement

 

Animate Hair and Beauty understands that privacy is important to you and therefore wants to ensure that your experience whether it be online or in the salon is a memorable, relaxing, enjoyable and as safe as possible. This privacy policy details how we generally handle your personal information. Animate Hair and Beauty will collect information from you when you book an appointment either online, over the phone or in salon; buy a product, purchase a gift certificate or even when requesting a quote. Some of the information that we may ask (but is not limited to) include your name, address, phone number, email address, date of birth, emergency contact information and also any information/history that will assist us in providing a service or treatment.

You also have the right to object from providing us with such information m(keeping in mind that in many cases without such important information a booking may not be able to be made or a service or product purchase may not be provided), or delete personal information; you can also object from the use of your information.

 

Your personal information may be used in the following ways:

Confirm appointments

Notify of new products/services/promotions/closure dates etc

When required by law

As a client or visitor you have the right to request a copy of your personal information that we have on file (but only that is relevant to you personally and not our own information recorded based on a service provided). In most cases this will be at no cost, although we may charge a fee to cover administrative costs if we consider the request to be excessive or unfounded. At Animate Hair and Beauty we may also operate CCTV surveillance and alarm equipment throughout the premises. These CCTV have both video and audio recording capabilities. Therefore such content of conversations may be captured. The purpose of the surveillance is to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors and property for health, safety and insurance purposes. All CCTV surveillance cameras are visible and will not be located in change rooms or bathrooms. CCTV recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days.

 

Responsibility for Children & Personal Items

For the safety of our clients and being a small boutique space, please ensure that you come alone to your appointments. For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children receiving a service are accompanied by adults at all times, and carefully monitored. Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client. This includes clothing, as much as we do our best, we cannot be held responsible for any damages and therefore recommend not wearing white or your favourite item clothing. Any breakages, theft or damage of salon property including but not limited to; cars, items, products, tools, furniture, premises etc will incur a cost to you, the client. Regardless of circumstances, children are not permitted to receive any form of chemical services including but not limited to colour, lightening, keratin or permanent straightening. Children are limited to the following services: moisture/protein treatment(s), haircuts, blow drys, thermal straightening or thermal curls. Please understand that according to Australian law, a child is classed as anyone under the age of 18 years.

Refunds & Returns

FOR Services
For cancellations of a booked service appointment that is not being rescheduled, the pre-paid booking fee deposit linked to the canceled appointment can be refunded upon request less a 10% administrative fee only if more than 48 hours notice is given to the salon.

Animate Hair and Beauty will not offer a refund if you simply change your mind about the service received or purchased.
Animate Hair and Beauty will not provide refunds or exchanges for singular products purchased as a multiproduct deal, discontinued/stock clearance item, or items that were provided as samples/free.
As per the Australian Consumer law, refunds will only be offered if there is a major failure or minor problem that can’t be fixed within a reasonable time with a product sold or service provided to you that does not meet a consumer guarantee.

For Electrical items, please see each manufacturers individual warranty information on their respective websites. In most cases you may need to contact the company directly to submit your claim.
Animate Hair and Beauty is not responsible for any return shipping costs and will not refund or offer a credit for any shipping/courier fees you have previously paid. All shipping costs are at the expense of the customer.
Animate Hair and Beauty takes no responsibility for lost/missing parcels. Should a parcel be deemed delivered via a courier, you will need to contact the courier directly to resolve the issue.
Please note this is considered case by case and is at the discretion of Animate Hair and Beauty.


As stated in this policy, we do not offer refunds/exchanges/returns on services nor do we provide refunds/exchanges/returns any of the following product types which include but are not limited to:
- hair accessories (including but not limited to; brushes, combs, ties, scrunchies etc)
- hair colour
- electricals (unless deemed faulty by manufacturer, you will need to contact them directly)
- hair care products
- beard products

- beauty products (including but not limited to; skincare, cosmetics)
- supplements (including but not limited to; Aede Supplements)
- gift certificates
- gift cards
- rewards/loyalties
- shipping/postage/freight

Animate Hair and Beauty will not provide refunds or exchanges for products purchased due to sanitary reasons unless deemed faulty by the manufacturer.
You must contact us before returning anything, and obtain a return authorization. Please note that this does not mean that we have agreed to provide a refund. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect the goods or the respective manufacturer will inspect the goods and assess whether the goods in question are faulty or not. Should the goods be deemed faulty – you will be contacted by the respective manufacturer/brand with how to proceed. Please understand this process can take up to 30 days or more especially over holiday periods due to closers.

Faulty Goods

If you think there is a fault with an item that you received, please contact us immediately. If it is an electrical item and you wish to make a claim under warranty please read our Warranty information below, you are entitled to a replacement or refund as per the manufacturers warranty conditions. Please choose the following products carefully as once they are received, opened, applied, shipped or paid for, they cannot be refunded or exchanged with some items once purchased being in an unsalable condition regarding health, safety and hygiene concerns.

  • hair accessories (including but not limited to; brushes, combs, ties, scrunchies etc)

  • hair colour

  • beard care products

  • hair care products

  • beauty products (including but not limited to; skincare, cosmetics)

  • supplements (including but not limited to; Aede Supplements)

  • gift certificates

  • gift cards

  • rewards/loyalties

  • shipping/postage/freight

Product warranties are held with the manufactures. If you need to have an electrical item repaired/replaced (dependent on the manufacturer) whilst it is under the warranty period, the cost in returning the item to us so that we can do this will be at your expense. You will also be required to cover the cost of having the repaired/replaced electrical item returned to you. In some cases you will need to deal directly with the brand or manufacturer, in which case we will provide you with all necessary contact details.



Allergies, Medical Conditions, Medications
We kindly ask that you advise us of any medical conditions, medications, allergies, illness, injury or changes to your health status prior to any services being conducted. We will not be held responsible if a client does not disclose pertinent health information that could impact the service(s) provided by Animate Hair and Beauty and it's staff. Please understand that we will not be responsible for any reactions that may require an adjustment appointment or refunds of any payments made including booking fee deposits should you have not disclosed this information 48 hours or more prior to your booked appointments start time. We will not be able to provide any adjustment appointments should you not disclose this pertinent information to us 48 hours or more prior to your booked appointment start time. Regardless of cancellation reason, should you cancel/reschedule/no show or arrive late, please see the corresponding policies for this.

 

Head Lice Policy
Although head lice are not considered a physical threat to the team or others, nor is it an indication of un-cleanliness, our salon reserves the right to refuse service following the Equal Opportunities Act. Our salon nor its team are committing an offense against this Act by refusing to perform a hairdressing service on a person with head lice, treated or otherwise. Please respect our decision to refuse service.



Maintaining Records & Consent To Charge Credit Cards & Other Payment Methods

Our salon is committed about the privacy and confidentiality of personal and sensitive information. We ensure legal compliance by handling, protecting and maintaining the security of information acquired from you.
We are not responsible for the collection, distribution and handling of your personal and sensitive information by anyone who is not employed by our salon.
As a client/customer, it is your responsibility to notify us of changes regarding personal information including but not limited to; contact information, personal information mentioned throught these policies, credit card details etc

If a section of this policy applies that obliges you to make a payment, by booking a service or purchasing a product/service/membership, you acknowledge that you authorize Animate Hair and Beauty to charge your nominated payment method by using the payment system chosen at the discretion of Animate Hair and Beauty.
Please note that Animate Hair and Beauty will not be held responsible for any issues that may occur including but not limited to; data collection or fraudulent activity that could be associated with any of the operating systems that Animate Hair and Beauty choose to use to operate their business.


Settlement of Accounts
All accounts are to be paid in full on completion of work or prior to receiving goods/products/memberships/gift cards that have been purchased. Work that has been completed, regardless of outcome has been completed with a thorough consultation of the client and at the cost of the business. Time, products used, running expenses and staff professional experience has been utilized to fulfill a service and as such a cost is to be remitted by the client to Animate Hair & Beauty. Should payment not be made upon completion of service, or prior to receiving including but not limited to; goods/products/memberships/gift cards, any and all outstanding accounts will be dealt with via legal means.

Memberships & Packages

Cancellations / Reschedules / No Shows outside required notice times (48 hours or less notice) are non-refundable and will forfeit any booking fee deposits or pre-paid payments associated with the affected appointment/membership/package. Arriving 15 minutes or more late to your appointment means that we are likely not be able to complete your service in the allotted time. In this instance, you will forfeit any booking fee deposits, pre-paid payments, funds or membership payments associated with the affected appointment and may be required to make a new booking (inclusive of new booking fee deposits, pre-paid payments, funds or membership payments) for a more suitable date and time. Each services that is booked using a membership package is paid in full at the time off booking and is non-transferable and non-refundable should you provide 48 hours or less notice when a cancellation/reschedule/no-show/late arrivals occur.

We pride ourselves on providing all clients with fantastic service and quality customer care. We are professional, highly- skilled and experienced, and will provide you with the best hair care services possible. All clients are provided with a thorough consultation prior to commencement of each colour service. The details of this consultation can have a detrimental effect on the service that is performed by your stylist (eg type of home products utilized, frequency of swimming, tank water etc). The stylist will at all times advise before, during and after the service, recommendations to ensure that the work being performed can be sustained both at the time of service and after the service. It is at your discretion as to your acceptance of these recommendations. The stylist nor Animate Hair & Beauty cannot and will not be held liable for recommendations that you do not follow.

You (the client) acknowledge that you will contact Animate Hair and Beauty prior to booking an appointment should you have any concerns to ensure we can make your experience with us as comfortable and stress free as possible including but not limited to: medication interactions (everything comes out in our hair), allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions (eg. eczema or psoriasis) or any other health concerns that may impact the service that may be provided which includes but not limited to mobility or injuries (eg neck injuries preventing colour to be rinsed correctly at the basin).

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law / emergency situations / insurances or if you violate our Policy Terms & Conditions/Service/Sale/Safety Procedures or Agreements.



By purchasing goods/product(s) or booking/scheduling a service(s) or appointment with Animate Hair and Beauty in any format including but not limited to; phone call, sms, email, in-person or online, you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to the Policy Terms & Conditions set out by Animate Hair and Beauty which is publicly available via our website.

For Your Health & Safety

For your safety, we would like to inform you that our Joiken Ruby Styling chairs and basin chair can safely support up to 120kg. We will not enquire or ask you about your current weight however by visiting and using the chairs provided at Animate Hair and Beauty, you understand that you are using them at your own risk and that Animate Hair and Beauty will not be held liable or responsible for any injury or accidents that may occur.

As Animate Hair and Beauty is a semi-commercial building, Vaping & Smoking Cigarettes within 5 metres of any entrance or within the premises is illegal and you are required to follow the laws set out by the Queensland government. GIFT CARDS/VOUCHERS

Gift Cards are non-refundable, non-transferable and resale is prohibited. If a gift certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission, a replacement or refund of funds used will not be provided in the circumstances. Do not give out your gift voucher code to any one that is not authorised to use it. Animate Hair and Beauty Gift Vouchers are valid until the expiry date specified and cannot be redeemed or replaced after this date. All Animate Hair and Beauty Gift Vouchers for in-store use come with a 4 year expiry from the date of purchase. Animate Hair and beauty Gift Vouchers are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Gift Vouchers are not valid with any other offer and / or special at Animate Hair and Beauty. Animate Hair and Beauty Gift Vouchers are valid for in-store purchases only on salon service(s) / appointments or products purchases and cannot be used for our online store. No minimum spend is required and can be used over multiple transactions.

To check your remaining balance, please contact Animate Hair and Beauty directly and have your voucher code readily available. You will be required to quote your gift voucher number/code every time you wish to access it to check available funds or when using it as a payment method.


PRICE CHANGES

Animate Hair and Beauty reserves the right to adjust and amend prices at any time.
Please Note, from 1st July 2023, the following bookings/appointments will incur an additional surcharge on top of the advertised service pricing. This surcharge is applied at during the checkout phase. This will not affect any purchased for goods such as hair care/beard care products.
*Due to the Australian government award wage increases, All Sunday appointments will incur an additional 20% Surcharge on top of the advertised/quoted service(s) pricing and is applied to the affected service(s) once they are completed and being checked out.
*All services requested to be completed outside of our normal advertised business hours will incur an additional $20 surcharge for every 30 minutes outside of business hours until the service(s) are completed and being checked out.

ON PREMISES SECURITY

We would like to inform you that our premises does have multiple security cameras in effect. The footage from said cameras may be used in instances that include but not limited to; insurance purposes, criminal investigations, altercations or where required by law. By visiting our premises, you automatically authorise and approve that should a situation arise, that the footage, in its entirety be used for the above intended purposes.
